Inside the Serpent

Dragon Migwyn,

Practitioner of the Energetic Arts

I am a dedicated, driven, and highly accountable student of both metaphysics and academics. I am a gender xpansive creature who pursues spiritual growth and artistic performance with equal zeal.  I am a person of celtic, nordic, slavic, and germanic descent currently living on the Tulalip Reservation.

I acknowledge the original inhabitants of this area, the Snohomish people, and their successors, the Tulalip Tribes. Since time immemorial, they have hunted, fished, gathered, and taken care of these lands. I respect their sovereignty, their right to self-determination, and honor their sacred spiritual connection with the land and water. Please consider donating money to the Tulalip Tribe or your local tribal organization.

When I was young I was captivated by all things fantasy and magic, but as I grew into my teen years I became more interested in science.  This lead me on an academic path towards mathematics. I now hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Mathematics Education and run a successful private practice teaching mathematics one on one.

I started seeking a spiritual path towards the end of my Saturn Return. All my academic achievement and boundary pushing hedonism had left me feeling anxious and empty despite taking great care of my physical body and doing regular talk therapy. In effort to find new meaning for my life I finally started researching my greatest passion as a child: wild natural magic.

After walking a long and winding path of discovery, I am now a joyful and enthusiastic student of the spiritual, energetic, and sensory arts.  I am currently taking classes from the Irish Pagan School taught by Lora O'Brien and Jon O'Sullivan.  I have completed two nine month intensive trainings on Norse Seiðr practices with Betsy Bergstrom. I hold certifications in Crystal Healing, Distance Healing, Crystal Channeling, Crystal Mediumship, and Advanced Etheric Practices through the Crystalline Academy taught by Krista M. Mitchell.  I have completed Prima, Segunda, and Tertia intensive workshops at the Spagyricus School for Practical Alchemy taught by Robert Bartlett (who was a direct student of Frater Albertus).  I continue to pursue my interests in herbalism, aromatherapy, mycology, astrology, and human design. I am also passionate about music and dance performance, which is deeply entwined with my spiritual practice.

I dedicate the merit of my  practice to the defense of the natural world.
